Do I need to create an account?
No. Choose a tool, upload your file and inspect the preview. You only enter payment details with Paddle if you decide to download a paid result.
Can I preview a result without paying?
Yes. Successful conversions include an interactive, reduced-detail STL preview. It lets you inspect the shape, but it is not the full-quality output.
How long are my files kept?
Unpaid files are deleted within 60 minutes. After payment, files are available for re-download for up to 7 days, then deleted unless you delete them sooner.
Does STL to STEP make editable CAD features?
No. The STEP result is made from triangle faces. It is a faceted solid or, if the mesh cannot be closed, a surface shell—not a parametric CAD model with editable features.
Which tools keep my file on my device?
STL Viewer and STL Editor run in your browser without uploading your file. STEP Viewer and conversions require server processing.
